Weite Horizonte – Vintage Leinwandbild

Auf diesem Vintage Leinwandbild ist fast nichts als Himmel zu sehen. Weiche Wolken in Weiß, Perlgrau und zartem Rosé schieben sich übereinander, dazwischen öffnen sich Flecken in hellem Blau. Ein paar Vögel kreisen hoch oben und wirken vor der großen Fläche winzig. Am unteren Rand schließt ein schmaler, blaugrüner Streifen das Motiv ab, wie ein ferner Horizont am Meer. Die Oberfläche ist matt und leicht fleckig, was dem Himmel etwas Altes, Gemaltes gibt.

Im Schlafzimmer über dem Bett bringt das Hochformat Höhe und Luft an die Wand und bleibt dabei ganz leise. Im Wohnzimmer, im Flur oder im Bad passt das Wandbild zu Weiß, Beige und Greige, zu hellem Holz, Leinen und Keramik. Der naturfarbene Rahmen lässt es fast mit einer hellen Wand verschmelzen, der goldene setzt einen warmen Rand, der braune oder schwarze gibt dem zarten Motiv Halt.

Die Vorlage ist die „Wolkenstudie“ von John Constable aus dem Jahr 1821. Mit ihren hellen, kühlen Tönen passt sie zu skandinavischem Wohnen, zu Japandi und zu maritimen Räumen ebenso wie zu einer klassischen Einrichtung. Es ist ein Motiv für alle, die beim Blick nach oben zur Ruhe kommen und sich diesen Moment ins Zimmer holen möchten.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Returns

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
