Verwitterung – Wabi Sabi Leinwandbild

Dieses Wabi Sabi Leinwandbild zeigt eine Fläche, die wie verwitterter Stein oder rostiges Metall aussieht. Dunkle, ausgefranste Bänder in Schokoladenbraun und Schiefergrau ziehen schräg über einen Grund aus Ocker, Sand und Rost. Die Oberfläche ist überall fein gesprenkelt und gekrakelt, dazwischen laufen dünne Kratzer und eine senkrechte dunkle Linie durch die Mitte. Gegenständliches gibt es nicht zu entdecken, nur Farbe, Flecken und Spuren der Zeit.

Im Badezimmer neben Holz und hellem Stein wirkt das Hochformat warm und ruhig. Auch über einer Kommode im Flur oder im Schlafzimmer passt es zu Nussbaum, Leinen, Ton und Beige. Der braune Rahmen lässt Bild und Holz ineinander übergehen, der goldene greift die Ockertöne auf, der naturfarbene macht das dunkle Motiv etwas leichter.

Die Vorlage ist der Einband eines Skizzenbuchs von Jean Baptiste Monnoyer, entstanden zwischen 1680 und 1695. Was einmal ein abgegriffener Buchdeckel war, wird hier zum abstrakten Wandbild. Es passt zu Japandi, zu minimalistischen Räumen mit Naturmaterialien und zu allen, die Gebrauchsspuren und Alter schön finden.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Each canvas print is individually made for you. Production takes 2 to 5 working days, after which your picture will be in transit for about 2 to 3 working days. As soon as your package has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can find more information here.

Returns

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
