The frames

Solid wood mouldings, slim profile. Light and dark wood keep their open grain, gold and black have a smooth surface. Glazing is acrylic rather than glass, which arrives intact and weighs far less on the wall.

The print sits edge to edge in the frame, so the size you choose is the size of the print. The rebate covers a few millimetres along each edge.

About the artwork

Diese Vintage Zeichnung zeigt einen Reiter im Galopp, festgehalten mit wenigen schnellen Linien in Sepiabraun auf warmem, cremefarbenem Grund. Das Pferd streckt sich weit nach vorn, der rundliche Reiter sitzt in leuchtend roter Jacke und dunkler Kappe darauf und hält die Zügel straff. Das kräftige Rot ist die einzige Farbe im Bild und zieht den Blick sofort auf sich, darunter deuten ein paar Striche den Boden an.

Über dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer, in der Küche oder über einer Konsole im Flur bringt der Kunstdruck mit viel freier Fläche Ruhe an die Wand und setzt zugleich einen kräftigen Farbpunkt. Die Sandtöne passen zu Leinen, hellen Wänden und dunklem, rustikalem Holz, das Rot greift warme Akzente im Raum auf.
