Seelandschaft – Vintage Leinwandbild

Dieses Vintage Leinwandbild zeigt einen stillen See zwischen bewaldeten Hügeln. Rechts steigt ein dicht bewachsener Hang an, aus dem oben zwei Felsspitzen ragen, weiter unten bricht rötliches Gestein durch. Auf dem glatten Wasser liegen ein paar winzige weiße Segelboote. Im Vordergrund stehen links dunkle Baumkronen, rechts ein knorriger alter Baum mit freiliegenden Wurzeln und herbstlich gelbem Laub. Darüber hängt ein heller Himmel mit großen grauweißen Wolken.

Über dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer bringt das Querformat Tiefe und Ruhe an die Wand, im Schlafzimmer über dem Bett wirkt es wie ein Blick hinaus in die Natur. Seine gedeckten Töne aus Oliv, Ocker und Braun passen zu Salbeigrün und Creme, zu dunklem Holz, Leinen und Leder. Der braune Rahmen betont die dunklen Partien, der naturfarbene lässt den Himmel heller wirken, der goldene greift das herbstliche Laub auf.

Die Vorlage ist „Blick auf einen See“ von Thomas Doughty aus den 1830er Jahren. Das Motiv passt zu Moody Interiors und zum Landhausstil, aber auch zu Räumen mit Bücherregalen und alten Möbeln, die ein wenig nach Dark Academia aussehen dürfen. Es ist ein Bild für alle, die gern am Ufer sitzen und den Booten zusehen, bis das Licht über den Hügeln wechselt.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Returns

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
