Schattentanz – Wabi Sabi Leinwandbild

Dieses abstrakte Wabi Sabi Wandbild wird von einer großen schwarzen Form in der Bildmitte bestimmt, die aus trockenen, kreidigen Strichen aufgebaut ist. Darüber ziehen sich geschwungene Spuren in Schwarz und Oliv, und quer durch das Bild fallen helle, fast weiße Streifen wie Licht durch Nebel. Der Grund aus Oliv und Sand bleibt an den Rändern ruhig und lässt den Strichen Raum.

Über dem Bett im Schlafzimmer oder über einem Sideboard setzt das Leinwandbild einen dunklen Ruhepunkt. Auch in der Küche passt es gut, weil die erdigen Töne das Holz der Möbel aufnehmen. Zusammen mit dem olivgrünen Wabi Sabi Leinwandbild, das ebenfalls auf eine Skizze von Cachet zurückgeht, ergibt es ein ruhiges Paar.

Das Motiv geht auf eine Skizzenbuchzeichnung von Carel Adolph Lion Cachet um 1890 zurück. Es passt zu Wabi Sabi und Japandi Räumen mit hellen Wänden und natürlichen Materialien, und wer Kunst mag, die eher andeutet als erzählt, findet hier viel Bewegung auf wenig Farbe. Je länger man hinsieht, desto mehr Formen tauchen aus dem Dunkel auf.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Returns

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
