Perlen in der Muschel – Barockes Leinwandbild

Eine Frau mit dunklen Locken hält eine geöffnete Muschel, in der zwei Perlen liegen, eine dritte nimmt sie gerade zwischen die Finger. Ihr Gesicht ist am oberen Rand angeschnitten, zu sehen sind Perlenkette, Ohrringe und ein Kleid aus goldbraunem Stoff über heller Haut. Der Hintergrund bleibt fast schwarz, sodass Hände und Perlen hell aus dem Dunkel treten. Dieses barocke Leinwandbild lebt von solchen kleinen Details.

Im Esszimmer, im Schlafzimmer oder im Flur setzt das dunkle Hochformat einen warmen Akzent an einer hellen Wand. Das Goldbraun des Kleides und der Schimmer der Perlen passen zu Holz, Messing und Creme und wirken besonders abends im warmen Licht. Der goldene Rahmen nimmt den Glanz der Perlen und des Stoffs auf, der braune verbindet sich mit dunklem Holz, der naturfarbene setzt das Dunkel klar ab.

Die Vorlage ist ein Ausschnitt aus dem „Bildnis einer Dame in allegorischer Gestalt“ von Pierre Mignard aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Eine weitere Hand mit Muschel nach John Singleton Copley gibt es ebenfalls im Shop. Mit dem dunklen Grund und dem warmen Goldbraun passt das Wandbild zu Dark Academia und zu barock inspirierten Räumen. Es hält den kurzen Moment fest, in dem eine Perle zwischen die Finger gleitet, und macht aus einem kleinen Detail ein Bild voller Ruhe und Kostbarkeit.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Returns

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
