Kleid aus blauer Seide – Barockes Leinwandbild

Dieses Moody Leinwandbild zeigt einen Ausschnitt eines Porträts, der am Hals beginnt und das Gesicht bewusst weglässt. Zu sehen sind ein Kleid aus blaugrauer Seide mit Schmuckspangen, weite Ärmel aus cremeweißem Stoff und eine helle Hand, die locker im Schoß ruht. Die Seide wirft schwere, glänzende Falten, ganz unten schimmert ein Streifen Petrol. Der Hintergrund bleibt fast schwarz, und feine Risse ziehen sich durch die alte Farbschicht.

Im Schlafzimmer, im Flur oder über einer Kommode wirkt das Hochformat ruhig und edel, weil es ganz auf Stoff und Licht setzt. Das kühle Blaugrau der Seide passt zu Creme, Beige und Grau, zu hellem Stein und zu Messing. Der goldene Rahmen betont den Glanz der Seide, der naturfarbene hält das dunkle Motiv leicht, der braune verbindet es mit dunklem Holz.

Die Vorlage ist ein Ausschnitt aus dem Bildnis der Herzogin von Portsmouth von Sir Peter Lely aus dem Jahr 1671. Das Motiv passt zu Dark Academia, zu barock inspirierten Räumen und zu allen, die an alten Porträts vor allem die Stoffe und Details lieben.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
