Dunkles Porträt Leinwandbild

In diesem Moody Leinwandbild sitzt eine Frau im Profil vor einem fast schwarzen Hintergrund und stützt das Kinn in die Hand. Licht fällt nur auf Stirn, Wange und Finger, alles andere verschwimmt in Braun, Oliv und Schwarz. Links schimmert ein heller Streifen, auf den ihr Blick gerichtet ist. Die Farbe ist rasch und in groben Zügen aufgetragen, sodass das Gesicht erst aus etwas Abstand ganz Form annimmt.

Über dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer oder im Schlafzimmer setzt das dunkle Porträt einen ruhigen Gegenpol zu hellen Stoffen. Es passt zu Beige, Creme und Salbeigrün, zu Leinen und dunklem Holz, und gibt einer Leseecke etwas Nachdenkliches. Der goldene Rahmen holt das warme Licht im Gesicht nach vorn, der braune verbindet sich mit dem Hintergrund, der schwarze macht das Motiv noch strenger.

Die Vorlage heißt „Meditation“ und stammt von Jozef Israëls aus dem Jahr 1906. Als enger Ausschnitt im Hochformat gibt es dasselbe Motiv ebenfalls im Shop. Das Bild ist für alle, die an der Wand lieber einen stillen Moment sehen als eine große Geste, und passt zu Bücherregalen, Kerzenlicht und Räumen im Dark Academia Stil.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Returns

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
