Drachenbootfest – Chinoiserie Leinwandbild

Diese Chinoiserie Landschaft zeigt ein Drachenbootfest auf einem breiten Fluss, erzählt in vielen kleinen Szenen. Geschmückte Boote mit Drachenköpfen und Ruderern ziehen über das Wasser, auf Brücken und am Ufer stehen Zuschauer in langen Gewändern. Kiefern, Weiden und Pagodendächer rahmen das Geschehen, im Hintergrund staffeln sich Hügel. Die Farben bleiben gedeckt in Jadegrün, Petrol und Sand, dazu kommen kleine Akzente in Rot und Orange.

Über dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer wirkt das Querformat wie ein Wimmelbild, in dem sich aus der Nähe immer neue Einzelheiten finden. Im Flur über einer Konsole oder in der Küche passt das Leinwandbild zu Holz, Stein und Leinen, weil seine Töne selbst an Naturmaterialien erinnern. Ein brauner Rahmen betont den antiken Charakter, ein naturfarbener macht das Wandbild leichter.

Die Vorlage ist das „Drachenbootfest“ eines unbekannten Künstlers aus dem 18. bis 19. Jahrhundert. Mit seiner feinen, textilen Anmutung passt das Motiv zu einer Einrichtung im Chinoiserie Stil ebenso wie zu ruhigen, rustikalen Räumen, in denen ein einzelnes, detailreiches Bild genügt. Es ist ein Bild für alle, die gern verweilen und beim Hinsehen kleine Geschichten entdecken.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Returns

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
