This poster is a reproduction of a tapestry from the late Middle Ages. It features a unicorn, representing a beloved creature that has been tamed. It is tied to a tree and fenced in, but the chain is not strong and the fence is low enough to jump over. The tree is full of ripe pomegranates, which were a symbol of fertility and marriage in the Middle Ages. The red spots on the unicorn's side are not blood, but just juice dripping from the pomegranates in the tree. The other plants, such as wild orchid, knotweed and thistle, also hint at the theme of marriage and fertility.
