Dame in Weiß – Dark Academia Leinwandbild

Eine Frau mit rotbraunem, hochgestecktem Haar steht mit dem Rücken zum Betrachter vor einem fast schwarzen Grund. Ihr weißes Kleid mit weiten, gerüschten Ärmeln und schmaler grüner Schärpe leuchtet aus dem Dunkel. Die Farbe ist schnell und in breiten Strichen aufgetragen, besonders an Ärmeln und Rock. Weil ihr Gesicht verborgen bleibt, wirkt dieses Dark Academia Leinwandbild still und ein wenig geheimnisvoll.

Im Schlafzimmer über dem Bett oder im Flur wirkt das Hochformat ruhig und klar, weil es fast nur von Weiß und Dunkel lebt. Vor hellen Wänden setzt der dunkle Grund einen starken Akzent, neben Leinen, Grau und hellem Holz greift das Kleid die hellen Töne des Raums auf. Die Vorlage ist „Dame des 17. Jahrhunderts“ von William Merritt Chase aus dem Jahr 1895. Mit dem dunklen Grund und der schnellen Malweise passt das Wandbild zu Moody Interieurs und zu viktorianisch inspirierten Räumen. Weil sie sich abwendet, bleibt die Frau ein Rätsel, und genau das lässt einen immer wieder hinsehen.

Your design is printed to order using fade-resistant inks on high-quality 400 g/m² cotton canvas. The matte surface reduces reflections and ensures a calm color reproduction. The canvas is then hand-stretched over a stretcher frame.

Shadow gap frame
The stretched canvas print is placed in a shadow gap frame. A narrow gap remains between the canvas and the frame, making the image appear to float within the frame. This framing adds extra depth to the canvas print and allows the motif to clearly take center stage. 

The frame is available in natural, brown, gold, and black. Natural, brown, and black preserve the visible wood grain, while the gold version has a smooth, laminated surface without wood grain. 

Dimensions
The shadow gap frame is 1.2 cm wide and the gap between the canvas and the frame measures 0.5 cm. The total depth is 5.3 cm. The motifs are available in different sizes; you can find the respective total dimensions in the size overview.

Hanging
Your canvas print is delivered framed and ready to hang. Depending on the size, one or two screws in the wall are sufficient for hanging, and the
frame is hooked directly onto them. Fastening elements are not included.

Returns

Since every product is made to order, we recommend carefully
checking the dimensions before purchasing. Especially with larger
formats, it is helpful to ensure beforehand that the desired picture
fits well in the room.

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Should your canvas
unexpectedly arrive damaged or defective, we will, of course,
